Earth System Scientific Modeller, Bureau of Meteorology

   - Implement ACCESS-G4/GE4, an upgrade of the foundational Numerical Weather Prediction model to the Bureau of Meteorology including monitoring of two trials running on hindcast mode, interaction with downstream users, task-level documentation, improvement of existing code and new apps. 
- Conduct verification of rainfall forecast and other fields comparing ACCESS-G4/GE4 with the current operational version and observational data. 
- Co-chair of "NWP Technical" meetings, writing minutes and organizing talks and topics to discuss.

Meteorologist Developer, Spanish Agency of Meteorology
    -
Developed a new 24/7 short-range forecast from the Ensemble Prediction System (EPS) to report Terminal Aerodrom Forecast (TAF) for airports in Spain.
    - Utilized EPS from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) and in preparation for the new generation of EPS based on Harmonie and WRF.
    - Constructed EPSgrams for grid points (airports, cities) and areas (e.g., hydrographic basin) built in Python.
    - Participated in daily weather briefing for Catalonia and TAFs for NE of Spain.

    - Monitored surface ozone measurement in Catalonia.
    - Accomplished the routine tasks of forecasting and maintenance of the surveillance campaign web site.
    - Activated the information system in case of exceeding some of the thresholds.
    - Operated meteorological model MM5, photochemical model CMAQ, and emission model MECA.
